About Us…
We are a local and independent family business serving Saskatoon since 1993. We have dedicated ourselves to providing a welcoming, laid back atmosphere, a large menu of Specialty Coffees, Pastries and a large variety of Arabica beans freshly roasted from all over the world.
Having opened four locations in Saskatoon, we are now returning to the basics and focusing on our original goal – freshly roasted coffee beans which is now available Online Ordering
Our story began in Saskatoon in 1993, when Aileen and Vince Barilla opened the doors with a simple dream: to share exceptional coffee and create a space where people could come together. From early mornings to afternoon catch-ups and everything in between, Broadway Roastery quickly became a place where neighbours, friends, and travellers could find a familiar cup and a friendly smile.
Over the years, we’ve watched families grow, regulars become friends, and countless conversations unfold over steamy cups of coffee. Our roasting philosophy has always been rooted in respect for the bean — thoughtfully selected from around the world, roasted in small batches, and delivered with care. Whether you preferred a bright, nuanced light roast or a bold, full-bodied dark, each bag we sent out carried our commitment to quality and passion for flavour.
Though our physical locations have closed after 32 wonderful years, our story doesn’t end here. We’re evolving — focusing on bringing our coffee directly to you through freshly roasted bags shipped online, so you can still enjoy the same craft and care in your own home.
